Re-Radiating Antennas are required if you have a windscreen in your car
which has UV or heat/sun protection. Some cars also have similar
problems with heated windscreens.
The reason for this is that these types of windscreens can block or
diminish GPS and radio signals, and a Re-Radiating Antenna can help
alleviate this by having the main antenna on the roof of the car, and it
re-radiates / re-broadcasts the signal down the wire into the car to
another antenna.

GPS Mounts allow you to mount your PDA or
GPS Receiver to the dashboard or windscreen of your car.
Mounts come in various flavours, some fit to
the windscreen, some fit to the air vent mounts, and some are pedestal
mounts that fit into cup holders or can be bolted to various bulk heads
inside the car, or even the car seat.
