One of the most useful accessories for your PDA is a case to protect it. For the 3x00 and 5x00 series iPAQs the supplied protection sleeve was barely adequate, well it protected the screen and control buttons I suppose, but there wasn't a hint of style in it at all. This is where Covertec come in with a large range of cases for PDAs, SmartPhones and the Apple iPod. This review features the iPAQ 2210 leather case which retails at £30.98 or €44.90.

Krusell have already earned a reputation for high quality with their range of PDA and Cell phone cases.

As I already own a Krusell case for my E200 Smartphone which fits the handset like a glove and utilises their superb 'Multdapt' clip system I was delighted to receive a 2210 case for review.

Otterbox offers secure cases and boxes for both your GPS equipment and PDA's ranging from Pocket PC's to Palm PC's.

Otterboxes are not only secure, robust but are also practical.  Supplied with gaskets, you can lock your PDA away inside an otterbox, make it waterproof and dust proof and yet still use it out in the field.

This makes Otterboxes an ideal case to house your equipment in.

Otter have brought out a new case to compliment the Armor range, and this is the Armor 3600. It looks great, perhaps a little larger than the previous models, but the design cannot be faulted. Aesthetic wise, the case looks perfect.

What Otter have now done is to create a universal case, which is larger, but still waterproof and crush proof and can fit any, and I mean ANY PDA into it and use a single screen saver rather than a specific screen saver for your PDA type.

The RoadWired Pod comes with an over the shoulder harness that clips onto the two side rings above each of the side pockets (pictured above).  You also have the ability to feed a belt through the Pod allowing you to keep it on a waist belt (although I think with the gear I store in there, I probably would find my trousers disappearing beneath me).

Bearing in mind that I like to carry a lot of GPS gear around, I usually take with me two iPAQ's, a Pretec Compact Flash GPS Receiver, a Bluetooth GPS Receiver, some spare batteries, a battery charger and lots of cables to connect the iPAQ's up to various GPS Receivers, oh and batteries!   With this in mind, the Pod has a tough call to fulfil one that nearly every bag has failed to live up to, the Pod does very well.

TheClip.com have sent us a variety of different mounts for Pocket PC's and Mobile Phones to review including a couple of belt holster cases.

Some of these are to be car mounted, some are to be mounted off your belt, so this review is based on the complete selection of mounts that we received.

very now and again we try to review a case for a PDA. It's not GPS, but everyone reading PocketGPSWorld.com are purchasing countless PDA's and you need to protect them. Whether that's encasing it in a cows hide (leather) or just protecting the screen, you want to protect your investment. The last thing you want is a cracked screen, or scratches over the case where you have accidently dropped it (and lets face it, we all do it!).

Recently the Mitac Mio 168 has been on sale at some great prices, and many of you have snapped these up, and some of you have purchased the Navman PiN (which is basically a Mitac Mio 168 with Navman SmartST Software installed).
